Micah "TruMic" Houston is a 36-year-old actor, Model, dancer, and musical composer born and raised in Boston MA. He has been working with the entertainment arts for over 15 years. Micah majored in Theater and stage performance at Boston Arts Academy of performing arts minoring in Dance Movement and musical theater. He has also trained with many veteran artists including Bill T. Jones, Alvin Ailey dance company, and Quincy Jones just to name a few. Micah’s skills have excelled throughout the years having performed nationally and internationally. His work expands into touring with Timbaland artist Bleona Quereti, working in film with Chadwick Boseman, Correy Hawkins, Omar Epps and Patina Miller just to name a few. He has been featured on Law and Order SVU season 20 and 21, and Power Book 3: Raising Kanan. Most recently Micah spends his time as a frontline vocal for the Sugarlane Concert band performing at various venues such as Cipriani’s, Pierre Hotel, Plaza Hotel, The Bowery, La Chateau, and Tribeca Rooftop to name a few. Every day he works to build a sense of authentic artistry using it as a catalyst to inspire those who struggle to believe in themselves. He believes anything is achievable with focus, faith and courage.
