Bio:

Kaye Starh formerly known as Carlene Ford born in the heart of Jamaica, Kaye Starh started her musical journey as a background singer working in studio recordings with some of the biggest names in the industry including Sizzla, Capleton and Michael Rose. Her first solo recording was with African Star,  where she  released a single called “ What’s A Mellow Day.” 
During one of her studio session she met the road manager for Black Uhuru Fitzroy Francis who introduced her to Duckie Simpson. Duckie was on the hunt for new female vocalist to join the band. After their meeting he decided to recruit Kaye Starh and so her journey began working exclusively with Black Uhuru where she did her first tour dubbed Black Uhuru featuring Sly and Robbie. Throughout her time with the band Kaye Starh gained immense popularity and recognition becoming a household name in the reggae music scene for her powerful voice and energetic performance’s captivating audiences worldwide. With her contributed efforts in song writing the album As The World Turns for Black Uhuru was born and was released in 2018 where it got nominated for Grammy’s as The Best Reggae Album category. Her solo recordings are A Straight Weed, Never Been In Love Like This Before and Whine Pon Me .a collaboration with Remington Steele. Kaye Starh music is distributed by Distrokid and is available worldwide on Spotify, iTunes and Pandora. This Jamaican female Reggae artist is a true epiphany of the foundation of reggae music rooted in her Jamaican culture.
