Promote This Artist: Bonz (Bones)

Atlanta-based recording artist, producer, and entrepreneur, BONZ, began to show an affinity for music 
at age 3 while growing up in Hartsville, South Carolina. Much of his youth was spent in church singing for 
his family and friends. After completing high school and going to college, he was offered an opportunity 
to expand his music career. Shortly after, BONZ relocated to Atlanta, Georgia which opened the door to 
his future.
Being a multi-faceted artist with the ability to rap, sing and produce, BONZ has worked with a variety of 
artists from Keith Sweat, Montell Jordan, Bone Crusher, Daz Dillinger and countless others in the 
industry. After getting his feet wet for a few years, BONZ launched his own label - Struggle & Strive 
Records (SSR). While building his own brand, he also created North Atlanta Movement (NAM), a group 
of North Atlanta-based artists that collaborate to represent the Atlanta music scene.
BONZ’s musical star was rising when tragedy struck. In 2015, he was shot in the head by a stray bullet.
After surviving a coma and learning how to walk and talk again, BONZ vowed to make the absolute most 
of his talents and return to the music game stronger than ever. During this time, he released several 
mixtapes, including The Set Up Volume I and The Set Up Volume II.
His upcoming album, Been Thru da Rain, will be released in 2019 – four years after fighting for his life. 
BONZ has poured his blood, sweat, and tears into reestablishing his professional career and is ready to 
take the industry by storm. The first single off the album, Stackin’ Up, will be available on all major
