As a teen Crunch was the photo double for the late great 2Pac Shakur in director John Singletons critically acclaimed Poetic Justice starring Tupac Shakur and Janet Jackson, where 2Pac plays a mailman. Crunch is driving the mail truck and doing 2Pacs fight scenes. He doubled for Tupac on Above The Rim and was set to photo double in Menace To Society, which 2Pac had a discrepancy with one of the twin brother directors and was no longer involved in the filming. So Crunch went on to double for Tupacs replacement. 

After this Crunch second assistant directed and makes cameo appearances in 2Pacs music videos I Get Around, Keep Your Head Up and Holla If You Hear Me. Crunch and Pac discussed collaborating on a song but the unfortunate happened. He went on to be an opening act on tour for Juvenile, Bizzy Bone and others.
