Raw Player Rod is the lost Rap God, with a truly unbelievable story, of brilliance and resilience, in the face of impossible odds, that warrants movies and documentaries, born in LA, California, Raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Raw Player Rod, was a handsome charismatic boy genius, who founded the Pretty Boy Gangsters in 1985. And Pretty Boy Records in 1990. Signed a distribution deal with Macola, and was shelved while possibly influencing the greatest of the greats! Raw Player Rod’s sons were taken by the Alaskan state after the state transcribed and read his non violent rap lyrics in court in 1992. His mom was a civil rights and community activist and leader and business owner. Raw Player Rod is a real life living legend in Anchorage Alaska's Rap lore.
